Omnath Back To Mono Green Now That Pride Month Is Over

THE ROIL WOULD BE A SICK NAME FOR A GAY BAR – Omnath, Locus of All quietly reverted from a five colored legendary creature to a single colored one this morning as June winded to a close.

Some members of the queer elemental community have disparaged the genocidal locus’s problematic representation, while others are just happy to see themselves in any capacity.

“To be honest, I kind of miss it.” said a talking rock named after a non binary person. “Don’t get me wrong, I know it was just cashing in on a trend, but I still like to see someone like myself out there. When I was a pebble, we were lucky to get a two color Omnath pop up before it was destroyed.”

The elemental in question still “supports” all colors of mana, but only on certain planes where it’s financially viable. It remains strictly monocolored when traveling the omenpaths to Portal Three Kingdoms, any Universes Beyond product from the U.K., and of course Inndianastrad.

Omnath was quoted as saying “We wanted to show the LGBTQIA+WUBRG community how much we support them, which happens to be exactly 30 days worth of support annually. If you gave us hard earned mana this past month, don’t worry it’s not going anywhere as steps and phases end. It’s staying right here where it will continue to accumulate and not actually help anybody we were sharing stock photos of on social media.”

“This asshole just keeps hopping on whatever bandwagon’s popular at the time.” said a musical tree elemental turned into a vehicle. “Go ahead watch its 2015 Youtube videos where it acted like a flaming edgelord, or its 2019 ones where it was everywhere and would not shut up, or its 2023 ones where it started pushing ads for some weird energy drink that made me one with the great machine for only 5 calories. That last one was pretty cool but Jesus dude, pick a lane. Can’t wait to see the inevitable colorless Omnath that’ll work with Skittles or some shit next year.”

Identity is fluid and so is Omnath. I think, actually I don’t know what it’s made out of. Whatever it is and whatever it’s doing are pretty transparent.

Many have criticized the elemental over its lack of spine when it comes to supporting queer rights, while others are quick to point out that it never had a spine to begin with.
