Commander Community Upset They Now Need To Remember What Sway of The Stars Does

THE INTERNET - The Commander Rules Committee issued an update to its list of banned and restricted cards. While no new bans were made, some cards were removed from the ban list, including powerful and popular choices like Braids, Cabal Minion and Coalition Victory.

As expected, various posts and threads have been made discussing the unbannings, but a large contingent of the internet Commander community is upset that they now have to remember what the newly-unbanned Sway of the Stars does.

The sorcery, a powerful card that can reset the game akin to Vintage-and-Commander-banned card Shahrazad, will be a pain in the ass to learn and remember. According to one thread on Reddit, many are hearing of the card for the first time, and immediately believe it'll become a new format staple.

"Oh god it's like a novel," decried Reddit user JellyfishSpkr, "jesus that's a lot of text. I've never even seen this card before, and I forgot what it did twice while typing this, but now I'm gonna have to spend $125 a piece for foil ones for each of my cEDH decks."

"BOOOOO, why does blue get yet another spell version of Questing Beast" another commenter named HeresWald012 posted. "I had to reread the thing three times to get in my head what it does, just to complain about it. This is rough...it's bad enough I need a jeweler's loupe to read modern Secret Lair cards."

A few outliers who approved of the unbanning were present, too, like poster 5sleasyPeeces, who expressed a desire for a new Universes Beyond printing: "Yeah, it's a lot to read, but look how awesome it is. I can't wait to see a new version of this card with Moon Knight art that references that one time he turned back the night sky in the TV show, which of course everyone knows."

Finally, KamigawaPrince posted "Hell yeah, I'm about to come into generational wealth: I have a playset of these wordy bitches! Hit me up if you want a copy for less than a house payment!"
