Magic: The Gathering Designers Forget To Remove iCarly Ad From Avatar Screenshot Card

CHANNEL 47 – Laziness has reached new heights this week as workers in charge of grabbing Avatar: The Last Airbender screenshots to replace artwork on Magic: The Gathering cards forgot to remove an iCarly promotional splash from the bottom of the screen.

Wizards of the Coast admit the original plan was for cards to be illustrated like they were for every UB set Naomi doesn’t care about goddammit, but some goofy teenagers dropped all the photos on the way to the office and had to quickly replace them through classic sitcom shenanigans.

“We used a disposable camera to take 480p screenshots from the old CRT TV in my mom’s basement.” said zany child actor who’s going to be anti-vax in ten years. “Frankly, the fact that it isn’t an in-between frame from The Great Divide where Aang looks like a sleep paralysis demon is a miracle.”

The ninety-seven year old one eyed sewer mutant in charge of Wizards of the Coast quality assurance maintains that they simply didn’t notice the mistake.

“It said 8/7c, which seemed like a lot of mana just to have Spencer maintain custody, but I digress.” said Old Man Jenkins. “Can’t keep up with these cards anymore. Honestly I’ve been trying to get fired since 2013 with Wit’s End and I’m starting to think they just don’t want to pay out my severance.”

In the end, the teenagers confessed to lying about their mistake before the corporate bigwigs in a terrible office set admitted that they love the creative solution of not having to pay artists. This led to canned audience applause and zero noteworthy changes to the status quo because come on you know they’re gonna keep doing this shit.

Former iCarly star Miranda Cosgrove was confused by the incident and denies having ever played Magic, while costar Jennette McCurdy is just glad their mom died so they can draw off of Fecundity.
