Reality Fracture Charlie Kirk Doesn’t Have Hole In Neck
“The multiverse within my brain is more divided than ever,” Jace mumbles at me before wiping away a tear and continuing, “and the only person who understood that was gone.”

The “man” known as The Theorist sat before me. A grimace spread across his features as he recollected traumas at me rapid fire. This was clearly a man who had been through a lot: Nicol Bolas, the Phyrexian Invasion, fumbling the hottest baddie to ever live, to name a few. So when he reached out to tell his side of the Echoverse story, I knew I had to venture to his realm and sit down with him. The tower he invited me to spanned the length of three cards.
“Urza’s only was one tall!”
He winked as he greeted me inside. Inside was styled in a fashion that I can only describe as PTSD-core. Pictures of every ex he had ever dated sat smiling. Fixed.
We went through all of them.
“This is Lili, we didn’t work out because she just had too much baggage. I had to make a version of her that didn’t go through all of that. But she’s still not with me. I would never create a version of my ex just to date her,” he said, to himself more than me.
We moved through a trophy room full of his accomplishments across not only the Multiverse, but the Echoverse as well. Him shaking hands with Niv Mizzet on Ravnica right next to him shaking hands with Mayor Mamdani in New York.
We came to rest in the den. I asked him why he was so focused on fixing his friends instead of himself, and if he had ever considered therapy for his many traumas.
What followed was a 20 minute diatribe on how I’m anti-blue. How he was just doing what had to be done for the people he loved. In every scenario he was blameless, but it did not sound like he believed himself free of blame. Every lie an admission. Every story a coping mechanism focused solely on Jace. He didn’t care if his actions led to some losing their loved ones so long as he got his back. And that was eating him from the inside out like a hungry Eldrazi locked inside the moon.

Before long, the question turned to the many races in the Echoverse that were in fact far worse off under The Theorist. I asked if the Eldrazi were still a threat in his mind world.
