If you're waylaid by the winter doldrums, Wizards of the Coast has a potential remedy in the form of a brand-new Secret Lair collection.
The Secret Lair Winter Superdrop 2025 is here, and eight separate collections span a wide variety of styles and reprints sure to be of interest to most Magic players. But just as winter is fleeting, so is the availability of the Secret Lairs contained within the Superdrop. The Secret Lair Winter Superdrop 2025 is available for purchase on Feb. 10 at 9 a.m. PST and are limited print run, so when they're out, they're out.
However, if there's more supply than demand, you might find that they'll be featured on the Secret Lair storefront for an indeterminable amount of time: "Additionally, as has been the case for the last few Superdrops, there's no hard end date to the sale," writes Wizards of the Coast. "But we do plan to clean up the storefront from time to time and remove products that have been around for a while."
So what's in the Secret Lair Winter Superdrop 2025? Let's find out.
Secret Lair x Hatsune Miku: Winter Diva
The question that resident Commander's Herald news reporter Josh Nelson asked more than a month ago has finally been answered. Featuring art by Micah Epstein, kelogsloops, Fariba Khamseh, Miguel Mercado, Julia Metzger, and Anna Podedworna, the Winter Hatsune Miku collection is the fourth and final stop on her year-long Secret Lair tour.

Aether Drifters
Pushing the aesthetic of Aetherdrift to its logical extreme, the Aether Drifters Secret Lair features an homage to single-sold diecast toy cars. You may draw comparisons to Matchbox or Hot Wheels, but these are not those, because those brands are both owned by Mattel.
The listing for the cards does, however, include a warning: "Do not attempt to open packaging. You will tear your card in half." Art for these selections has been provded by Doogie Horner, Rob Pavic, and Ivan Shavrin.
- Reversible Parhelion II
- Reversible Mechtitan Core
- Reversible Peacewalker Colossus

These race cards will be available for $29.99 in non-foil, or $39.99 in traditional foil.
Arcade Racers
The tie-ins with Aetherdrift continue with Arcade Racers. Instead of physical toys providing inspiration for this particular Secret Lair, however, we're drawing ideas from a different generation of racing entertainment: the arcade.
I'll let the Secret Lair listing itself set the mood:

From the right answers I will draw lot for the first prize and five additional prizes. The first prize is the color comp for the Deflecting Swat painting. The five additional winners will get a secret lair Rainbow Foil pack."
Yes, this is real. No, I will not help you.
Lorwyn Lightboxes
We aren't due to head back to the world of Lorwyn for roughly another year, but that doesn't mean we can't get a little preview by way of Secret Lair.

Winter's Breath Given Form
So, anything strike your fancy?
The Jesper Ejsing cards are amazing, but that might be my own personal bias coming into play. There's quite the variety here, so are there any must-haves for you? Or are you in a deep freeze when it comes to winter spending?
