Application submissions will be accepted from today, April 3, through 8:00 a.m. PST on Friday, April 17.
According to the Magic: The Gathering website, applications are anonymized and will be evaluated on quality, originality, and contributions that make the Magic: The Gathering community more inclusive or accessible.
10 select applicants will be notified via email of their application status no later than 11:59 p.m. PT on May 8.
Selected applicants must confirm acceptance of their New Perspectives Grant via email response by 11:59 p.m. PT on May 15, or the grant may be given to another applicant.
Applicants who represent marginalized communities based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, and/or veteran or military enrollment status are "strongly encouraged" to apply. This information will not be shared with the team evaluating the application. Applicants globally are invited to participate, not just those located in the United States.
