MountainMage Kicks Off Annual Magic: The Gathering Charity Raffle
Now's your chance to win some unique Magic: The Gathering prizes, all while supporting a good cause.
The 8th Annual MTG Charity Raffle, organized by MountainMage, has begun and is active until Sunday, Jan. 5, 2025. A live drawing for prizes will take place on MountainMage's Twitch channel on Jan. 7. Entrants do not need to watch the live drawing to be eligible to win, and prizes will be shipped to the winners by the end of January.
So what can you win?
Each year, the prize pool is generously donated by dozens of Magic artists, collectors, and other community members and reflects that common thread -- in other words, artist proofs, signed cards, and other Magic gear.
This year, all the prizes are separated into two lots, and raffle tickets can be assigned to either lot. The first lot contains more than 50 artist proofs and signed cards, including three painted artist proofs and three sketched proofs, while the second lot contains playmats, art prints, custom tokens, Magic t-shirts and even a Garruk Wildspeaker figure. Check out the lots below.

How To Enter
Raffle tickets will be sold in the following amounts:
- $10 for 1 ticket
- $20 for 3 tickets
- $30 for 5 tickets
- $50 for 10 tickets
If you donate more than $50, you will receive the highest ticket denomination available; for example, $100 will get you 20 tickets. To acquire raffle tickets, simply make a donation to The Fuller Center via their website, found here.
Following your donation, you'll receive an automated email, which you will forward to MountainMageMTG@gmail.com with information on how you'd like your raffle tickets allocated among the two lots. All donations are tax-deductible for U.S.-based entrants. For those outside the U.S. who are interested in entering the raffle, send your donation amount to mschnei56@gmail.com via PayPal (Friends and Family) and the donation will be made on your behalf.
A Spirit of Giving
Every year, Matt Schneider, also known as MountainMage, organizes a raffle in support of Fuller Center, a Florida-based children's education nonprofit organization. This year is the raffle's eighth. "Every year since 2017, I try and give back to those in need in my community by hosting a raffle," said Schneider. The entirety of the proceeds generated by the raffle are donated to The Fuller Center."In my first year, we raised $1,000. In the second year we doubled that, and in year three we raised over $6,000! Since then, we've raised an additional $18,000!"
Fuller Center (formerly Florence Fuller Child Development Centers) operates two locations in South Florida, dedicated to providing the children of hardworking, low-income families with the loving care and early education they need to succeed in school and in life. Since 1971, Fuller Center has grown from serving 22 at-risk children to more than 900 kids every year who would otherwise not have the start in life that they need to break the cycle of poverty instead of repeating it.
Fuller Center provides attentive infant care, crucial early education proven to improve academic and life outcomes, caring after-school counseling/tutoring, and summer camp to provide children a safe and enriching place to be while their parents work. Fuller Center also provides parents with the education/services they need to build more stable and self-sufficient households, such as resume-writing and job training, case management, and training in budgeting, parenting, and nutrition.
Schneider has operated his Magic: The Gathering signing service since 2016, and in that time has grown the number of artists he works with to more than 200. He also helps artists auction their original art as well as artist proofs. Upcoming signings can be found on his website, and he also facilitates a signed card fan group on Discord, open to all.
