Approach of the Second (MagicCon of 2025) Sun
Are you ready to step out of the Meditation Plane and into the Vegas sunshine?
Next Thursday, Early Bird badges for MagicCon Las Vegas are up for grabs. Vegas is host to 2025's second MagicCon of the year on June 20-22, with Chicago's event having occurred in February. It was announced during that MagicCon that it was the largest in the history of the event, so don't drag your feet.
Sales will open to the public at 10 a.m. (PST) on Thursday, March 20 for the event scheduled to take place on June 20-22 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Early Bird pricing runs through Friday, March 28 at 10 a.m. PST or while supplies last.
According to Reedpop, the company organizing MagicCons, each badge comes with at least one Avacyn's Pilgrim promo card (familiar to those who attended MagicCon Chicago). All badges provide access to The Art of Magic, The "Immersive Experience", The Free Play Area, The CommandZone, Mana Stage and Panel Rooms, and to Creator Central.
Vegas is hosting the second of three MagicCons scheduled for 2025, with the final event of the year happening in Atlanta on Sept. 26-28.
What badge is right for you?
With three seperate VIP badges to choose from at prices ranging from $360 to $1,000, as well as both premium and general day badges, it might be tough to find the right badge for your lanyard. Prices are almost identical to those for Chicago's event, except for a single difference -- Premium Weekend badges are now only $150 for Early Birds, down from $160. Unlike Chicago's event, however, there's no Dungeons & Dragons-themed badge tier between Black Lotus and Legendary VIP. And new for MagicCon Vegas is "The Lost Tavern," which is described as follows:
Introducing The Lost Tavern, a new to MagicCon experience! Legendary VIP and Black Lotus VIP badge holders can enter our Multiverse-themed Tavern from 12 p.m. - 7 p.m. daily to mix and mingle, enjoy bar access, entertainment and a place to relax with fellow VIP attendees. Looking for more information about what to expect in The Lost Tavern? VIP badge holders will find more The Lost Tavern details in their inboxes closer to MagicCon: Las Vegas.
