Wizards Announces New Secret Lair X Hatsune Miku Drop
On April 29th, 2024, Wizards of the Coast announced Secret Lair x Hatsune Miku as part of their Secret Lair Spring Superdrop. Dubbed Sakura Superstar, this drop will be one of four that feature the Vocaloid software phenomenon known as Hatsune Miku.
According to a press release sent out by Wizards of the Coast, the four thematic drops will occur over the course of 2024. This one in particular features six cards:

as "Miku's Spark" -

as "Miku, Lost but Singing" -
1x Feather, the Redeemed
as "Miku, the Renowned"
But just who is Hatsune Miku? Well, a more apt question may be "What is Hatsune Miku?". Miku is a music software created by Crypton Future Media, INC., according to the announcement that Wizards of the Coast put out earlier. Miku took the world by storm through usage on the Internet dating back several years to 2007. She has been utilized by various musical artists, including Pharrell Williams and Ashnikko. Miku was also the opening act for Lady Gaga's world tour "ArtRave: The ArtPop Ball". Crypton Future Media has since created many other singers in the same vein as Miku, commonly known as Vocaloids.
