Theft Spree At Midwest Game Stores Leads Suspects To Miami

We previously reported on ongoing developments concerning serial theft at local game stores across the Midwestern United States. These robberies have left a great number of LGS venues without some rather profound inventory, ranging from Pokémon cards to Magic: The Gathering cards. These thieves have also targeted sports card stores for their inventory.

However, this spree of robberies has left a visible trail. In the days following our article, a few of the owners of these stores have reached out to us with more information. We have the names and social media accounts of the alleged thieves. We even have the name of the dog that they are reportedly traveling with. Furthermore, thanks to one of these purported robbers' TikTok accounts, we know that as of 16 hours before this article was written, the alleged thieves were in Miami, Florida.

One of the alleged suspects, Brooks Allen Clinton, 42, is not new to robbery. In 2017, officials sentenced Clinton to three years probation for robbing a woman in her 70s. This occurred during an unlicensed renovation job Clinton was performing for the woman. Clinton had stolen over $20,000 worth of assets from her, according to a report by Michigan Live. Despite two charged felony counts as well as a misdemeanor, he got probation because Clinton paid institutions for his crimes.

Clinton's TikTok account shows him currently in Miami along with his alleged cohorts. If anyone has any details about the individuals who robbed multiple local game stores in the Midwestern United States, please contact the proper authorities. One resource that is conducting an ongoing investigation is the Chesterton Police Department. You can report any information on this theft to CPD via call or private message at (219) 926-1136. If by chance you see the alleged card thieves, do not confront or engage with them.
