Secret Lair x [REDACTED] Teased By Wizards Of The Coast

Josh Nelson • March 31, 2025

Once in a while, Wizards of the Coast teases something so wild that they have to keep us in the dark about it for a while. Even though they want to tell us something, sometimes the timelines are off.

This is why Secret Lair x [REDACTED] is something that exists. Wizards is keeping us pretty literally in the dark about this next drop, drop series, or, well, whatever it is.

However, we got this information in a mailer and it instructed us to look on DailyMTG for more information. That page gave us absolutely nothing at the time of writing, save for an April release date. What this could be eludes us still.

Some Guesses (Some Good, Some Bad)

To be fair, Wizards of the Coast has teased things similarly before. However, they haven't given us as little of a teaser as this particular Secret Lair news before. To be frank, we are absolutely, positively stumped as to what this could be or mean for the initiative.

For all we know it could be a return to From The Vaults, but in drop series form.

It could be accessories (but probably not the Hatchet from the Camp Totally Safe superdrop - we believe Wizards has learned their lesson there). This drop or drop series could even be sleeves, deck boxes, NERF blasters, or socks.

It could also be an April Fool's joke. Wizards of the Coast seems to like those, though many of their joke pages ar yielding a 404 Error and can't be found right now. The verdict is completely out on any details at this time. However, we expect to know more by tomorrow.

Secret Lair x [REDACTED] Is...

Let's hear from you, dear readers. Do you have any inkling whatsoever as to what this new Secret Lair drop or drop series could possibly be? What could it contain? And will the reward of finally learning be worth the hype that Wizards of the Coast is teasing us with? Sound off below!
