Lunar New Year Promos For 2025's Year Of The Snake Revealed

One of the coolest (and coolest-blooded) creature types in Magic is that of the Snake. A classic type known for providing card advantage and deadly combat tricks, Snakes are a versatile but fairly well-focused type. Fortunately for Snake lovers, Lunar/Chinese New Year is coming up, ushering in the Year of the Snake! As such, on Friday, January 31st, Magic: The Gathering announced their promos celebrating the Lunar New Year. Let's take a look!

Lunar New Year Promos Slither Right In

According to Wizards of the Coast's article on the subject on DailyMTG, participating local game stores will run promotional events for the following cards between Friday, February 14th, and Sunday, March 30th:

The first of these events will run between the aforementioned two dates, but throughout the year other promo cards will be made available as part of this Lunar New Year promotion:
