Lorwyn Eclipsed Eclipsed
EVERYWHERE, THE INTERNET — This past week yet another phenomenon happened in the greater Magic: The Gathering news cycle. Mere hours after releasing their planned second chapter for Lorwyn Eclipsed, a multiversal sized shadow was cast over the set’s moment when the first round of Marvel Super Heroes were spoiled. Online fans of the franchise were baffled at a company stepping on its own moment like that, but scientists at the Karl Marx School for Why Companies Do Stuff have offered a window into what could be their thought process.

Shocking I know.
It is yet to be determined if fans of the previous franchise will realize this product is not for them, but the outlook is not good. Dr Hans Lergufstein explains in a silly, overly-emphasized German accent, “In an environment where this many of the core players self insert as Jace, anything that should arise that challenges their perception as the most important person in every single scenario is going to struggle to take hold. It will simply be written off as morally impure if it fails to align with what they already know.”
In brighter news, fans that are not chronically online have reported that both new sets look very fun, and they are excited to see who in their friend groups get what.
