Josh Nelson • February 20, 2024

Hot on the heels of Murders at Karlov Manor comes the next set of Universes Beyond Commander decks! Radiation has finally hit the Magic multiverse, and nuclear fallout is upon us. Get your power armor on, stock up on Mirelurk meat, and grab that Geiger counter, because previews for the Fallout Commander decks are upon us!

Previewed initially during the February 20th WeeklyMTG stream on Twitch and YouTube, these cards are the bomb (for some, quite literally!). We won't be covering the cards revealed a few months ago, as those are now old hat, as it were. The cards revealed are all new to the public, so we will showcase everything we have from that stream. Are you ready for the fallout?

New Cards From The Ashes Of Nuclear Fallout

First off, we will show you some of the cards that you may be most excited for. The decks contain all manner of cards from the nuclear wasteland of this iconic franchise of video games by Bethesda, from new designs to reprints (more on those later!). So, without further ado, here are some of the new card designs from the four new Commander decks!

Notably, the Sagas from these decks show Vaults from the series and detail some of the quests found therein. Furthermore, there are seven Bobblehead cards strewn across the four decks that all have abilities that scale with the number of Bobbleheads you control. Overall, the designs appear to be formidable in the themes of the decks they're featured in. Onward!

Fallout Follows A Great Trend Of Great Reprints

Just like Warhammer 40,000, Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth, and Doctor Who before it, these new decks contain some superb reprints as well. We don't need to give you much more of a preamble here: here are a few of them!

Crawl Out Through The Fallout

All in all, these decks look pretty stacked. The Collector Boosters seem to have amazing reprints and reskins, and the decks have some fantastic cards in them as well. Will you be getting any of the Fallout Commander decks?
