CommandFest Events Announced For Spring 2025
On Tuesday, March 4th, Magic.gg, Magic: The Gathering's official competitive event news hub, announced the return of CommandFest! CommandFest 2025 events will be held in Orlando, Florida, in April and Shanghai, China, in May. As of March 6th, 2025, new June and July dates have been added as well to the cities of Sydney, Bonn, and Worcester.
This announcement was quite brief, containing little more than location information and the hosts. However, it promised players promotional copies of Reliquary Tower that are available to CommandFest attendees (while supplies last). This promo version of Reliquary Tower is available in nonfoil and traditional foil.
In addition, Wizards of the Coast promised more events lined up for later this year. We will update you with more information as it becomes available. Meanwhile, though, here's what Wizards of the Coast had to say about these kinds of events:
For those of you who've never been to a CommandFest, they're Commander-centric conventions hosted in partnership with tournament organizers. With ticketed play events that make Commander even wilder to free-play areas where you can see everyone's favorite decks, CommandFests have something for Commander fans of all play styles and interests.
Your favorite commander is already cool, but wouldn't it look better if it was signed by the card's artist? You can meet your favorite Magic artists, content creators, and personalities at CommandFests. Check with each event's organizer for a complete list of special guests.
CommandFest Orlando Date Discrepancy
The article goes on to announce the dates and general locations for the events. However, perhaps erroneously, it lists both events under the "May" header. The Orlando event takes place between April 18th-20th. This makes more sense than it being in May, because May 18th-20th falls on a Sunday-Tuesday span. So, here's what that probably should say:

Per Wizards' amended announcement with the June and July dates, these dates will have different exclusive promos avaliable to attendees.
Additionally, any information we currently have available may be updated with venues, new promotions, or an event itinerary. Nevertheless, when we find out more, we will let you know!
